I spend three months each summer painting the mountains and lakes of the Adirondacks. The 100-square-mile Adirondack Park is spectacular, yet many are unaware it exists. A sprawling six million acres, Adirondack Park covers more ground than Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks combined and has spectacular mountain peaks, pristine protected lakes, and a unique architectural style, and is one of the most diverse places to paint in America. This is a special, one-of-a-kind event, attracting all levels of painters who leave as best friends.- B. Eric Rhoads
